Privacy
We keep the calendar you make so you can come back and edit it. We only email you if you opt in. We do not sell your data. You can delete your calendar at any time.
What we store
- Your calendar: the place you chose, your settings, the family names and dates you enter, your cover title and family name.
- Your photos: the photos you upload and the crops you choose.
- Reminder sign-up, only if you opt in: your email address, the time you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, and a private link for unsubscribing.
- Server logs: the page address, time, status and response time of each request, used to keep the site running. Logs do not include what you type into the calendar.
- Your browser keeps a random calendar ID in local storage so it can reopen your calendar. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we store it
- To show your calendar, its preview and its PDF, and to let you come back and keep editing.
- If you opt in: to send reminders before Hebrew birthdays and yahrzeits on your calendar, and occasional gift ideas. Reminder emails are not being sent yet; when they start, every email will have an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Use Delete my calendar in the calendar maker to remove your calendar, its photos and any reminder sign-up. You can stop reminders at any time with the unsubscribe link or the Stop reminder emails button. If you cannot reach your calendar anymore, email us and we will delete it.
Who sees it
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. The site runs on Fly.io servers in the United States, which store the data for us. The free tools (Hebrew birthday, yahrzeit and Shabbat times) do not save what you enter.
